By booking this property, you certify that you have read this page, and that you and all members of your party understand and agree to abide by all the rules and policies outlined within.
After you book, we will send you a welcome message with directions on how to get to our house, as well as other helpful information.
Please be advised that as of February 2023, Monterey Country Club has shut off heat to all pools on property. Only the jacuzzis are heated. We will not be refunding stays booked February 2023 or after due to unheated pools.
Rules
Do Not Wear Outdoor Shoes Inside the House
Please do not wear your outdoor shoes inside the house. Bare feet, socks, and slippers are acceptable. Slippers are available on the shoe rack by the front door if you would like to use them.
Do Not Use the In-Sink Compactor
Please do not dispose of any food or other trash items into the in-sink compactor.
No Smoking

No Pets Allowed
Pets are prohibited inside the home, with the exception of assistance animals. Please refer to Airbnb's Help Article to determine what criteria an animal must fulfill to be considered an assistance animal.
No Parties or Events
All disruptive parties and events, regardless of size, are prohibited.
Check-In Time
Check-in time is 4PM Pacific Time.
Check-Out Time
Check-out time is 11AM Pacific Time.
Trash Pickup
Trash is collected every Monday. Please put the trash out onto the driveway by 7AM Monday morning for the garbage trucks.
High Chair/Pack 'n Play
For those traveling with a little one, we have a high chair in the kitchen, as well as a Pack 'n Play in the closet of the Front Bedroom.
Bicycles
We have provided, for your enjoyment, the complimentary use of two adult bicycles, as well as two adult helmets.
Anyone operating either bike:
1. Must be at least 18 years of age
2. Must wear a helmet.
Please ride responsibly. By utilizing either bicycle, you and your entire party assume any and all risks of injury and/or harm associated with such activity; and agree to release, indemnify, defend, and forever discharge us from all liabilities, claims, damages, costs, expenses, and causes of action due to, but not limited to, death, injury, loss, or damage. You and your party forfeit the right to hold us responsible for any injuries and/or losses incurred from use of/on our property.
Because use of the bicycles is provided to our guests at no charge, we will not be refunding any bookings or portions thereof for non-use or unavailability of the bicycles.
Golf Cart
As a bonus for booking with us, you get use our golf cart during your stay at no additional charge! However, for your safety, as well as the safety of others, we have outlined some rules below.
Anyone operating the golf cart:
1. Must be at least 18 years of age
2. Must hold a valid driver's license that is in good standing
3. Must have insurance
The golf cart must remain on Monterey Country Club property. Do not take the golf cart outside of the gated community.
Standing in the golf cart while it is in motion is prohibited.
Please charge the golf cart after each use.
Please utilize the golf cart responsibly. By using the golf cart, you and your entire party assume any and all risks of injury and/or harm associated with such activity; and agree to release, indemnify, defend, and forever discharge us from all liabilities, claims, damages, costs, expenses, and causes of action due to, but not limited to, death, injury, loss, or damage. Monterey Country Club Amenities
Monterey Country Club offers amenities and/or activities which may not all be available to non-residents or non-membership holders, such as guests staying in a short-term rental. Some activities may still be available to such guests for a fee, paid directly to the country club.
In addition, there may also be periods where certain amenities/activities are unavailable due to maintenance and/or cleaning.
